Probability of Conception?
I take Ortho TryCyclen-Lo and I took my last pill friday night, and I still haven't started. I usually do the next day after my last pill, which would have been yesterday. I'm just waiting it out in hopes that I'm not pregnant, but I'm trying to find out what the likeliness is of conceving on the day before you're expected period. I used an ovulation calculator, and I know what my "most fertile" days "should" be. But I don't know if it's likely to become pregnant the day before you should start. I haven't been able to find anything online about it, other than ovulation calculators, and that when you're most fertile days are. I want to know when the very least fertile days are. I've been experiencing symptoms that correlate with early pregnancy and an upcoming period for a week and a half. Last month I took a few pills a few hours late, and had sex, on the days just after my most fertile days. I'm just trying to figure out the probability. I took two tests and both are negative. help?
i think its relatively unlikely to become pregnant the day before ur period is due, however it is possible at any time.
taking your pill a bit late barely counts for anything. u actually have a relatively low chance of falling pregnant on no birth control, it can take couples upp to a year to conceive even if they are perfectly healthy. taking ur pill late merely equates to a slight possibilty. having said that i fell pregnant while on yasmin and hadnt taken it late, been sick etc.
if u are really worried go to ur doc, or sexual health centre and they can do a blood test which is more accurate
